From Mentoring to Website Redesign
The project began with digital mentoring through the Go Succeed programme. This stage helped the client review the existing website, understand what was holding it back, and identify practical steps for improvement.
This mentoring phase created the foundation for the website redesign by clarifying the business goals, the type of content that needed to be showcased, and the importance of improving the user journey for potential clients.
Following the mentoring support, the client moved into the website redesign stage, where the focus shifted from advice and planning to practical implementation.
From Brochure Website to Curated Travel Directory
Our work with Avante Video continued as Margaret’s plans for the business developed. Building on the original brochure website, we expanded the site into a curated directory featuring handpicked places to visit, stay and eat across Ireland and Northern Ireland.
The redesigned homepage puts discovery first, with an “Explore Ireland” introduction and visual links to destinations including the Mournes, the Sperrins, the Antrim Coast, Strangford Lough and the Fermanagh Lakelands. A Hidden Gems category also gives visitors another way to explore Margaret’s selections.
Alongside this new direction, we retained Margaret’s video production services, packages and enquiry routes. The navigation brings both sides of the business together, helping visitors explore places while keeping Avante Video’s professional services clearly accessible.
The development gives Margaret a foundation for expanding the directory over time, while continuing to promote her existing services.
